Apps and Digital Currency

“The Mobile Browser is Dead, Long Live the App” speaks on how people are using their mobile browser less and less everyday. Apps are taking over the scene and people are slowly stopping the use of their mobile browser. It was shown in the stats of this article as Apps had a use of 84% and 14% on mobile browser. That is a huge difference and I believe that the percentage of apps being used will increase over the course of a few years.

“The Rise of Chat Apps” talks about a few different apps and social media outlets and the different things they do. He also goes to point out who the app is for and why some people would choose that specific app. From watching my mother her favorite  and one and only app is “What’s App” which lets her talk to her family back in the Dominican Republic without any fees. She enjoys very much and think it’s the best thing invented. Some of these apps are out for great use and they all have a specific reason to be out. Sometimes, my mother becomes too addicted and blocks me out like most teenagers do today, however, I approve of her using the app because it makes her happy, with the app letting her talk to her friends and family back in her homeland.

The Fierce Battle for the Soul of Bitcoin” talks about it’s way of using money with an online wallet and using money electronically. The transformation that apps have taken in this world, are ridiculous yet outstanding. Some apps that are made are pure gold. They have everything you may want and need. Apps are changing the web in a way that the web may not be needed anymore. Everyone is making apps left and right that give you the use to anything that you need. Digital currency can be used for great things, such as anonymous donations and anything that you may want to remain anonymous in.

  1. Hello Victor,
You are right. Bitcoin in no time will be one of the most convenient mode of payment that will widely accepted in the world. Using cash for transactions will be minimized if not totally be abandoned. Similarly, like the “way2ride” app where users hail taxi and finally pay with it. In my opinion Digital currency is the most efficient and very straight forward. Great work Victor.
